New to Scouting?

First ask your parents to complete a registration, pay your dues, and fill out your medical forms.. 

Ask your parents to help you acquire your Scout Book, uniform and your basic camping equipment.

Troop 21 will give you the troop handbook, a T21 neckerchief and neckerchief slide, the "21" patches, and patrol patch.

Start attending meetings! Sit with your patrol and work with older scouts to learn Scout skills.

Start attending campouts! Tenting with other Scouts ... cooking ... knife/ax/saw ... campfires

Start earning merit badges! Choose badges that will be fun and interesting ... learn something new

After you complete First Class, start serving as a leader in the troop!

Start participating in the troop's service projects--later, you'll be organizing them for other Scouts!

Become an Eagle Scout! Be recognized throughout your life for the greatest honor any young person can achieve.
